Garden Chairs

I keep coming back to red in my decorating….not all red (of course)

But hits of it are able to…in just one twist both soothes and invigorates me.

looks here is more evidence – even my utensils are black, white or guess what else – yep – red! home 064

Here are some versions from my inspiration file (eek - sorry I didn’t keep track of where I’d found them all!) but thought you’d enjoy as well.

  1. That is how I feel about blue.

Thanks for stopping by and for your kind comment. You are waiting for the kids to go back for your project, and I am trying to squeeze a few more in because I work in a school and head back soon ;) I also had trouble deciding between black and white, to paint the windsor chairs and farmhouse table legs. Even as I added the first stroke of black, I was still not sure. Now I am. I love the black. My cabinets are white, we are adding white wainscot, and I think in our case the white would have been lost. That is also why I chose aqua for the barstools, so they don't disappear.

  2. I love red! I feel the same way about decorating with red. I love the shabby white, serene gorgeous rooms... I just seem to need a pop of color and it is usually red that is talking to me!! Love it! Your chairs are fabulous! I am thinking I need to add some red into my yard now too!!! :)

  3. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such a nice comment about my factory cart coffee table. It was a fun project to work on. Your 'red' photos are very inspiring. My favorite is the one with the white walls and fireplace in the background. The red chair really makes a statement. Have a nice day - Suzanne.

  4. It has taken me FOREVER to respond about that galvanized and tiered tray I used in my s'more dessert buffet. I am so sorry! :( I bought it at Hobby Lobby. It was inexpensive too! :)

And I SO wish I could have one of those COKE trays you have in this post...LOVE them.

  5. Well YOU inspire me for sure with your use of red. You obviously have a very talented green thumb as well! I'm jealous. Can't even get a weed to grow most days here in Arizona ;) Hope you're enjoying your summer!
