Congrats In regards to the washer necklace - basically when you tap the paper (after you have glued and dried it to the washer) as you tap it w the ballpeen hammer the paper tears along the edge metal washer. sort of like if you rubbed the paper where the washer ends it makes an edge - that edge tears w the hammer..Hope this explains it further..Jo
