Crepes – ooh la la

Mmmmm…some good eats were had here recently.
This is a GREAT recipe to make for someone you love
or even just for yourself!
For breakfast we had CREPES

The ingredients:
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • optional - sometimes I add 1/2 tsp vanilla or almond extract depending on the fillings I’m planning on using
in the bowl it all goes

and we whisk whisk whisk

coat pan with nonstick spray
heat over low to med heat

place about 1/4 cup batter in the pan &

swirl it around to cover the bottom of the pan

turn over for just a bit
and then flip out onto your plate

butter (just a little or a lot if ya really want)
add some premixed cinnamon sugar

which I keep in a little mason jar

Roll it up &

add your toppings of choice

this time we had chocolate syrup, strawberries and whipped cream

and - of course - gotta have some coffee
(cocoa for the kids)
to drink alongside…

  1. I love my crepes with lekvar(prune butter), dh eats his with cherries and cool whip. I am not very good at making them, but DFIL is!
