So I’ve been on a
WREATH making
BINGE
I started by just jotting down some ideas
and
started playing with the supplies
and
could not s.t.o.p. cranking out these babies!
Apparently, my creative juices were flowing…
I created several in one sitting:
No. 1
This one was JUST PLAIN FUN
it certainly says ‘spring-time’ to me!
It started off like this
and then I made all of these
I’ll share a tutorial on making these
pinwheels
soon
-------------------------
No. 2
let’s see how spring is measuring up..
I STOLE ‘borrowed’ by hubby’s thermometer from outside
{oops! – he went to check the temp and the thermometer was MIA…of course his keen investigative skills led him straight to me!!}
this wreath is a bit of a DIRECTIVE – telling mother nature to warm up – kinda bossy eh?
I’m so very DONE with winter!
-------------------------
No. 3
this one is a soft springy version
I’m calling this one a
Prairie Wreath
because it was made using pages from a
Little House On The Prairie Book
I was only able to let myself use these pages because there were already pages missing otherwise I don’t know that I could have torn it up!
(Pa would be crying now if he knew half-pint’s book was torn up
but I think Caroline would like it, don’t you?!)
I’m loving this ruffley paper flower I made popped into the center
See what I’m saying about the wreath making
BINGE thing?
I guess I have to go on a wreath diet now!
Happy SPRING everyone!!
