Warm Weather is here
HOORAY!
I’ve been using my
spray paint
with abandon.
My hand is ACTUALLY cramping up as I type this
{gotta remember to use that spray handle attachment thingy!}
In just the last few days, I used
white primer and
black primer…
and aqua mist and
white and
cream and
red
and
and
and…
I think I might be a little affected from all the fumes!
Here are some of the things I’ve been working on:
BEFORE
a pile of junk (not good junk in its current state, just junk!)
The BEFORE chair in a vintage poop yellow color – not digging it!
I’ve obviously been stockpiling over the winter
{I’m kinda like a squirrel that way!}
Here’s the pile DURING THE TRANSFORMATION
check out my garage sale find – ugly little desk -
do you see my fancy studio above?
Actually the edge of my driveway.
I’m wild like that!
I walk the line between getting grass on my items or
mud from the driveway!
When I’m done spraying – there is always leftover evidence that I was there…little bursts of aqua or puffs of white on the grass.
ha!
And
AFTER
Painted this metal star and the frame below
and just LOVE them now!
in the frame I just popped in a printout of some
happy & fun
words!
I redid the desk in a pretty aqua with a white top
on top of the desk is a scalloped little chalkboard
that I whipped up
{I’ll share more about that in a future post!}
Inside the desk, I decoupaged a funky polka dot tissue paper
You’ll see all of these items incorporated into a room redo I’m working on so be sure to check back or follow me to see it all in place soon.
All in all -
I’m enjoying the arrival of spring/summer!

it's looking good!
You're a girl after my own heart! I stockpile all year long. And my studio is just about as high tech as yours. Someday maybe we'll have a nice little studio for all of our creations :)

Everything looks great - love the aqua for sure!
I think I need some spray paint oh and some clear skies would be good.
Wow! I'm inspired to break out the spray paint. I have two of those desks and they could become so cute. This could be a summer project.
Love it all! I'm a spray paint junkie myself so I love gawking at other people's fabulous projects! Great job on everything!

I wish I had that desk! So cute!
At first, I thought that chalkboard was a giant saw blade! I'm just a little crazy that way! Everything looks great! (even without a giant sawblade) ;)

that is the best part of spring, and thank you so much for the inspiration. I have two of those desks in my stockpile and have been tempted to get rid of them....whew that was a close one :)
Love that desk! Such a great color.
My spray paint studio is rather mobile: a large piece of plywood I drag across the yard to shady, grassless dirt patches as far from the house and gardens as possible. What the neighbors must think...
I just love it all. The last pic is an especially cute set up of everything!

love love love all these things! especially the strawberry patch sign :)
"Vintage poop yellow" LOL! That one brought back memories of school in the 70's. You did such a fabulous job transforming those pieces and we are so thrilled you came by and shared them with us at Inspiration Friday this week! :-)

Gotta love spray paint! I really like that aqua color you used! So pretty! Thanks so much for linking up to Terrific Under Ten!
LOVE it all -- really love that scalloped chalk board on the desk top! I have an old lift-top school desk in my basement from when I was a kid, then my kids used it, now it's collecting dust. Really need to do something with that! Thanks for the inspiration!
Wow, so many great projects and they all turned out great. Fantastic work!
