Apothecary Terrarium

If you’re like me…

you probably have a few or ten apothecary jars around the house

while at the garden center, I happened upon this furry beauty

{Irish Moss}

home 003

Here’s how I put it together

in the apothecary goes a base of some small pebbles/rocks

for drainage

and then some potting soil

I used cactus soil here

pop in the plant and

voila

a beautiful

green little terrarium

mist/sprinkle with water every week or so

and the self contained ecosystem takes care of the rest!

  1. Maybe if I had planted my Iris moss this way instead of outside it would still be alive today .
