This sounds so delicious that I'm now going to make these. I have everything I need so I'm firing up the oven (it's a good thing it's not 90 degrees today!).

I just came from Get Your Craft On. Please stop by when you have a chance.

YUMMY is all I have to say. I've never seen my children eat dinner so quickly so they could get to dessert. Thanks for sharing!

found you over at Sweet Pea's and Bumblebees. These look so yummy! I think I will make these with my littles this week:>

I pinned these a while ago and made them this week. I had a problem with the marshmallow melting and I couldn't even taste the marshmallow part. I'm wondering if I cooked them longer at a lower temp if I would have the same problem. What did you do?

Karyn said...

The kids and I made a batch up tonight. They loved them. I couldn't really taste the marshmallows, but they were still yummy and the kids enjoyed them. I would recommend sealing all holes in the dough or the goodies melt out onto the pan. We had a few that did that. Thanks for the super easy dessert idea!

Have you had any trouble with the marshmallows disappearing? I tried something similar with pastry dough this weekend and the marshmallows vanished. I wonder if marshmallow fluff would be more "durable"?

I don't think these have to be just a summer treat! Nov. is a good month for them, too!

Laura said...

Do you think it would work if I substituted the croissants with pie crust?

Michelle said...

YUM! Made these tonight, but the marshmallows just oozed out. Will try sealing the edges even tighter next time! Thanks for sharing.

bbonnieblue said...

I have all ingred. and I was thinking when in season, adding a couple of raspberries.

Julie said...

Oh, I'm making these for SURE!

I just made these with my kids. YUM!!!

sampacheco said...

I made these but added some crumbled graham cracker crumbs to add some extra sweetness/crunch.

The Young's said...

I also had problems with the marshmallows disappearjng and there was only a hint of chocolate. I was expecting more of the ooey goodness of a smore. Did I do something wrong?

Anonymous said...

Sounds great, but I am going to add a little bit of caramel sauce and nuts for more flavor.

Rachel said...

Can't wait to try making these! :) And yes, I realize it's almost Christmas... but smores should be a year-round snack! ;) And now thanks to you they can be!

Verna said...

Sounds yummy. I think it would be even better with a glaze.

Audrey said...

What a great combination! My son loves both. I'll will make these over spring break for him. Thanks!!!

HaleyR said...

I've made these just as "chocolate croissants" without the marshmallows (ten chocolate chips apiece) and they are addictive! Will definitely try this version!

The Working Momma said...

I just made these and experimented with marshmallows and marshmallow fluff. The marshmallows disappeared but the fluff was nice and gooey! Don't use too much because it will puff up as it cooks. Amazing!

The Working Momma said...

I cooked mine for 10 minutes at 375 and they were perfect!

Anonymous said...

These looked so good, but they don't really turn out. The marshmellows melt into the dough, there isnt that goo goodness that I was hoping for even when I packed them full the second time around. Good idea for a snack though..just need a different way to make so that the marshmellows dont melt away. : )

Unhip Chick said...

Oh my! These look so good and so easy to make. They're definitely going on my to do list for the next gathering of chicks.

Judy said...

I haven't tried these yet, but to make them more like s'mores, why not springle some graham cracker crumbs on top of the chocolate and marshmallows before you roll them up?

Anonymous said...

I made a double batch tonight and there are only two left...I think they were a hit with my kids (and me!) yummmmmmy!! thanks for sharing this idea :)
