I cannot wait to try these! I've made plain chocolate croissants many times before but I've never even thought about adding marshmallows! Thanks for posting! :)
ReplyDeleteWow! These look incredible. I will defiantly try these soon!
ReplyDeletefound you over at Sweet Pea's and Bumblebees. These look so yummy! I think I will make these with my littles this week:>
ReplyDeleteI pinned these a while ago and made them this week. I had a problem with the marshmallow melting and I couldn't even taste the marshmallow part. I'm wondering if I cooked them longer at a lower temp if I would have the same problem. What did you do?
ReplyDeleteThe kids and I made a batch up tonight. They loved them. I couldn't really taste the marshmallows, but they were still yummy and the kids enjoyed them. I would recommend sealing all holes in the dough or the goodies melt out onto the pan. We had a few that did that. Thanks for the super easy dessert idea!
ReplyDeleteWell, We have started having dessert on Sunday night to make our family dinner that much more enjoyable. When I saw these on your blog I knew we'd be putting them into the rotation.
ReplyDeleteHave you had any trouble with the marshmallows disappearing? I tried something similar with pastry dough this weekend and the marshmallows vanished. I wonder if marshmallow fluff would be more "durable"?

These look delicious, can't wait to try!

I don't think these have to be just a summer treat! Nov. is a good month for them, too!
ReplyDeleteDo you think it would work if I substituted the croissants with pie crust?
ReplyDeleteYUM! Made these tonight, but the marshmallows just oozed out. Will try sealing the edges even tighter next time! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI have all ingred. and I was thinking when in season, adding a couple of raspberries.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm making these for SURE!
ReplyDeleteI just made these with my kids. YUM!!!
ReplyDeleteI made these but added some crumbled graham cracker crumbs to add some extra sweetness/crunch.
ReplyDeleteI also had problems with the marshmallows disappearjng and there was only a hint of chocolate. I was expecting more of the ooey goodness of a smore. Did I do something wrong?
ReplyDeleteSounds great, but I am going to add a little bit of caramel sauce and nuts for more flavor.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to try making these! :) And yes, I realize it's almost Christmas... but smores should be a year-round snack! ;) And now thanks to you they can be!
ReplyDeleteSounds yummy. I think it would be even better with a glaze.
ReplyDeleteawesome idea! new follower here!

Okay...so..i want to try this SO very badly.. but some comments say they could of cooked it longer or something so whoever thought they were the bomb could you tell me how long and what degrees you set the oven on!! i would gladly appreciate it :)

ReplyDeleteI'll try this one next!!!
ReplyDeleteThese will be perfect for camping. The makin's for Smores is a staple on a camping trip!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to try these out!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great combination! My son loves both. I'll will make these over spring break for him. Thanks!!!
ReplyDeleteI've made these just as "chocolate croissants" without the marshmallows (ten chocolate chips apiece) and they are addictive! Will definitely try this version!
ReplyDeleteI just made these and experimented with marshmallows and marshmallow fluff. The marshmallows disappeared but the fluff was nice and gooey! Don't use too much because it will puff up as it cooks. Amazing!
ReplyDeleteI cooked mine for 10 minutes at 375 and they were perfect!
ReplyDeleteThese looked so good, but they don't really turn out. The marshmellows melt into the dough, there isnt that goo goodness that I was hoping for even when I packed them full the second time around. Good idea for a snack though..just need a different way to make so that the marshmellows dont melt away. : )
ReplyDeleteOh my! These look so good and so easy to make. They're definitely going on my to do list for the next gathering of chicks.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried these yet, but to make them more like s'mores, why not springle some graham cracker crumbs on top of the chocolate and marshmallows before you roll them up?
ReplyDeleteI made a double batch tonight and there are only two left...I think they were a hit with my kids (and me!) yummmmmmy!! thanks for sharing this idea :)

ReplyDeleteHey what should the oven preset be at and how long should I put them in for? This looks so good!(:
ReplyDeleteOK...seriously...these look AMAZING!!! I can't wait to try them...I think I'll have to make up a test batch just for myself before I share them with anyone else...;)

Wow! Those sound delicious!! Can't wait to try them with the kiddos!. Pinned!

ReplyDeleteUh, I want to see a picture how it looks inside!!!
ReplyDeleteI adore baking with my children and this recipe is so easy! We think baking together builds a bond and we totally had fun with this. We did some playing around and topped them with a cinnamon/sugar mixture! Amazing! Thanks so much for sharing (saw it on Pinterest)!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea for families. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI have a 10 year old grand daughter who loves s'mores and croissants so this will be a nice surprise for her...she is just starting on her cooking adventures and she loves making croissant rolls so I am sure she will enjoy making these and sharing them with her friends. Margaret
ReplyDeleteThese are a great little treat to make with your kids!! My 4 yr old had a blast preparing them, and she's watching the timer until we can eat them!!
ReplyDeleteI adore smores because they remind me so much of the camping trips that I enjoy so much. Thanks for teaching me the recipe. They look good in their own right! Time for some campfire!
