 Polishing

Skin Scrub

------------------------------------------------------------

Remember I shared my recipe for Gardener’s Hand Scrub
earlier this year?

home 004

------------------------------------------------------------

This new version is the same basic premise..

Whip up a batch of this

easy yet indulgent scrub

when you have a few minutes…using ingredients YOU ALREADY HAVE!

The only ingredients you need are:

Sugar
{or Brown Sugar}

&

Body Wash

{yep that’s it folks!}

You can add essential oils
(lavender or peppermint perhaps?)
to up the scent factor if you wish…
{but most body washes already have wonderful scents!}
so you really don’t
HAVE to!

--------------------

Just mix up these ingredients to the consistency YOU LIKE

(see the recipe here)

hand scrub

(apparently I had to take my new skin polish
outside for some fresh air!)

This is

GREAT
in the shower
for elbows, knees, heels, etc
that seem to get drier in the winter.

You come out of the shower smelling
oh so good

and soft as a baby’s…what?

This concoction is also great in the summer though too for taking care of flip- flop-wearing-tootsies or dirt-digging-gardening-hands!

TREAT YOURSELF!

or make some for
someone you love
!

  4. I know some thing and want to share with you ...thats * Believe it or not, adding a few drops of baby oil in your bath does make a difference to the softness of your skin, try it out.
    * Or, another strange fact is if you use honey on your skin whilst having a shower it makes your skin immediately softer afterwards.
    * Also, you need to moisturise with cream regularly after baths or showers and your skin will be softer before you know it!...this is your fine..blog

  13. DO NOT USE PEPPERMINT. It can seriously hurt you, as it is not meant to be used in this fashion.

  14. Please do not use glass containers in the shower! They may be pretty, but are a hazard.

  15. Thank you for sharing your recipes for the many different scrubs. I'm always looking for something to give as Mothers's Day gifts and it always seems to be flowers. But giving a basket of scrubs would be a perfect gift.

    I love the small jars you use. Can you tell me where you got your jars and what brand they are? I can get small canning jars here in Carroll County, MD but they aren't as cute as yours. ]

    Thanks so much
