winter mantel

I’m starting to get into the grove of winter!

(I can’t believe I just said that!)

It is snowing outside and actually quite beautiful!
{It’s like our house is in an extraordinarily large snow globe!}

Another reason winter is now going from dreaded to lovely is due to the fact that I’ve

* winter-fied *
the cottage.

{* new word!)

(yes, we actually did install more insulation this past weekend…But aside from that…

more…

Warmth

has been brought in with décor and color.

Our mantel has been redone with more white
{and my favorite little pops of red}
