I love my big ol’ chalkboard
It is a vintage school chalkboard
with a built-in ledge
I’m using it turned on its side
and it fits perfectly in my little alcove next to the fireplace
For Spring – the chalkboard displays one of
my very most favorite phrases
YOU are…
my sunshine!
{even when skies are grey!}
I like little chalkboards too!
{and have then scattered throughout the cottage}
happy
spring
indeed!
xoxo

Love this! Your mantle decorations look great too. Megan
ReplyDeleteVery welcoming mantel you created! I too love chalkboards and that big one is a charm!
ReplyDeleteI painted an old gilded picture frame and made my own chalkboard. It's huge and I just love it! Aren't they so fun? Your mantel is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove! I'm such a fan of chalkboards but that old vintage one is just so fantastic. Hooray for Spring!
ReplyDeleteThis is just darling! I love that song!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
So charming! I love chalkboards, too! I have so many, it's embarrassing! LOL!
ReplyDeleteso cute - I'm so in love with chalkboards and have turned TV trays, silver trays and dresser drawer fronts in to chalkboards! I love you message too - my grandson's favorite song!
ReplyDeleteLove your chalk boards! And great Spring mantle too!
ReplyDeleteI think you have the happiest, sunniest room this spring!
ReplyDelete(Wish we had another spring in Melbourne this Easter.)
Enjoy!
You can only do awesome images that have real impact on the BIG chalkboards! Love this one that you made! My daughter had a favorite stuffed bunny when she was little that sang this song. She LOVED it!
ReplyDeleteHow cool! I love that it's a vintage school chalkboard. I'd have chalkboards throughout our house if I didn't have an aversion to chalk.
ReplyDeleteWow! Makes me feel like I'm back in the Pacific North West, and has given me quite the craving for a latte - just has that Seattle/Vancouver in-depended coffee shop feel to it!
ReplyDeleteI challenge you to the 2012 Earth Day Craft Challenge!
