You might have seen my little red chair included in my header pic
{which I’ll probably be changing up soon}
I’ve actually got a bit of a vintage kid chair addiction collection going
This is my newest find:
Here is the BEFORE shot
kinda sad shape:
so I ripped off the horrible seat that was totally trashed.
{It was being held together with scotch tape!}

and in its place I added webbing
{which coincidentally has the red and burlap colors I adore}
It’s a cutie, eh?

ReplyDeleteAdorable!!
ReplyDeleteThe webbing is perfect! It's so sweet!
ReplyDeleteSo cute, and the little fox decal is adorable! I must dig out my own rocker that held my (once much smaller) behind. :)
ReplyDeleteIt really is a super cute chair! I have a little vintage milking stool that I'm going to paint in a creamy yellow color soon, once it warms up in my garage :) Snow here today.
ReplyDeleteOMG I just freaked out!!! I found a chair EXACTLY like this about a month ago!!! One of the rockers was missing so I took the other one off and evened up the legs, then took the burlap and red webbing and made a seat!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteHere is a (crappy) picture of my "after":

just darling!
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of a chair we found in our attic when I was a kid. I don't know whatever happened to that chair, but I'd like to have it back now! The webbing is a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI think I've fallen in love. You know how much I love red, but a tiny red chair . . . yep it's offical . . . I'm in love.
