We changed it up a bit to fit our family
(AND to use what I had in the pantry!!)
My hub & kids aren’t huge fans of green peppers so I omitted that and instead of the broth I used ‘beefy mushroom’ soup, 3/4 c of water and 1/2 c of steak sauce.
We buttered up some buns, hit them with a few shakes of garlic salt, added a slice of provolone and broiled for a few moments
(watch ‘em closely in the broiler– it goes quickly
let me tell ya! – have you ever tried the knife scraping trick on a bun that had melted cheese on it? good times!)
