BBQ Pork Sandwiches

I realize this picture is a bit onion heavy
but that’s the way I roll {at least that day!}

Here’s the RECIPE to make your own:

Take a pork shoulder roast (3# or so & trim any extra fat off)

Add a dry rub (give it a good massage!)

Pop in a dutch oven in a dry pan with no water & no lid at 500 degree for 30 minutes

Then lower oven temp to 250 degree, add an inch or two of water, put a lid on it and let it roast all day long (see I told ya it was easy!)

At the end of the day when you’re ready to chow down

Pull the roast out, drain, shred, add your fav bbq sauce (homemade or bottled – you pick), pop it back in the oven to heat through and you’re ready!

We love it on lightly toasted buns with onions (as you can plainly see) or coleslaw on top.
