One of my recent crafty endeavors resulted in this:
when I saw this I had to make some little embellished pots of my own so I tucked it away for future reference here

I started off with some thrifted teeny tiny little pots
ahhh they’re so itty bitty cute!
The previous owners of these tiny pots had written contents on them so I just slathered them with
white terra cotta paint
I wasn’t looking for perfection – instead - going for a distressed shabby patina to them
once dry, I added some tiny little rub-on number decals
and added them to a lovely little
scrolled iron tea light holder
A cute fun little project
DONE!!

Lazy days of summer?
Um not so much – seems busier than ever!
YOU TOO?
{I thought so!}
Did ya have a hard day at work?
Been hanging with the kiddos all day?

Remember I’ve been clearing house lately?
aahhhhh
I’ve been doing a pretty good job!!…
(patting myself on the back)
A big piece of that clearing process is
finishing projects
that have been umm…languishing
(or those being stored for future completion)
I’ve been ripping through them
and it feels…soooooo good!!

One of my recent project involved buttons
lots and lots of buttons
I have a huge collection of vintage buttons
(many sweetly passed down from my mom & grandma)
I combed through them and selected out some of the creams and whites
I decided to use some of them on a plain old magnet dry erase bulletin board
adding them around the trim gives such a nice
softness to the piece…
that fits in so much better around a
cottage farmhouse
