The other day I shared a project using a new-to-me photo transfer process
and today I’m sharing a project using the same process only on fabric
I created this graphic/image with the circle, arrows and wording and transferred them to fabric
(you can view the transfer how-to here and here)
I trimmed the fabric and pieced it with other cute fabric to make the top of my mug rug
then I chose my chevron backing fabric, attached some fusible fleece and sewed it to the top
yay!! I also tried my hand at machine quilting with this little project and I’ve fallen in love!!
{pssst!! I’m working on a tutorial for this easy little quilt project that I’ll be sharing soon – stay tuned!}
I have a special spot for my favorite cup of coffee!
A place for everything and everything in its place
{makes me think of my mom!!}
Now I HAVE to go get a cookie and some coffee….right now! You too?

Your mug rugs are just what I need! Coasters are too darn small for coffee cups, and these would work perfectly. Nicely done!!
