a daughter’s dip

Disclaimer: this isn’t your normal everyday northern cottage recipe!!  I know…the pictures aren’t clear and crisp but this recipe fills my stomach AND my heart!!

It is a dip made with LOVE and joy and learning!!

READ BELOW…

DAUGHTER DIP@NorthernCottage.net

You guys have seen that I was playing with making some dips as of late…well… daughter witnessed all that dip making in person and decided to whip up her own concoction!!

The recipe, creation and photography was all done by her (without my even knowing)

@NorthernCottage.net 012

The recipe resulted in a tiny bit of dip for each of us to take just a taste …so this recipe as shown below really serves 1 person but I thought you all might enjoy the sentiment nearly as much as a proud mama (me!)

It tasted quite good and made my heart smile!!

2 roma tomatoes, chopped
1 green onion, chopped
2 Tablespoons Sour Cream
2 Pepperoni, diced
a small handful of shredded mozzarella cheese
a dash of garlic salt
a smidge of pepper

She has shared that she wants to have her own food blog and to perhaps be a chef when she grows up! (or a veterinarian or maybe a ballet teacher or or or)

It pays off to cook and create and play with your kiddos each day!! They learn and aspire and explore and grow with each interaction!!

Making this mama’s heart very happy indeed!!

I’d be very game for her to be a chef – I’d be on the winning receiving end of that I’d imagine! mmmm!!!

Enjoy!!
