I'm so glad to have you here! On this blog, you'll find a FUN and ever-changing mix of crafty creations, recipes, thrifty finds, home decor, gardening and DIY projects!!
Yep - I'm a real live person behind this blog!! For now, I am an 'undercover blogger' (shhh...makes me feel like a secret agent) because we have little kiddos and just feel more comfortable with not having our home and everything else open to the whole wide world. You get that, don't you?
A little bit about me: A few years back...we moved from a larger metro area to a little bit smaller midwestern town and we're loving the 'country' life. Though life is still crazy with our family of four (plus our pup!), it is a calmer and much more relaxed life! Just what we envisioned! We love being surrounded by the forest, lakes, change of the seasons. But....we are NOT off the grid {a girl needs her shopping and wi-fi, right?} We love to work hard as well as squeeze in time to FUN and play!
Things I adore: * good deals {thrifting, garage sales, fleamarkets, auctions - ahhhh},
* vintage, prairie, farmhouse, cottage home decor with a bit of contemporary industrial edge
thrown in;
* yummy recipes {I love to try new recipes and use my family as my
* getting my creative juices flowing with crafts and diy projects.
I do all of this to make our home a happy spot....welcoming and cozy for this sweet family of mine!
We may not have an ultra fancy house but it's our house!!
I'm so excited about what lies ahead for our cottage projects, our little family and this fun adventure called life!
