{TEACHER Gift - Thanks for the SWEET Year!!}

our teachers!

So wanted to give a little end of the year treat

to say THANK YOU

for all their hard work!!

I cheated a little bit and didn’t make it entirely homemade

{& I’m perfectly fine with that!}

instead I bought some really yummy caramel dip
from the grocery produce area

some apples

some cute little jars

and some packing supplies

-----------------------------------

Put the caramel dip right in the jars

{I added a little bit of toffee bits to the top – mmmm!}

Cover the lid with a cute cupcake liner

tie with bakers twine

pop the jar and an apple in a cellophane bag

tie with more baker’s twine

and add a little gift tag

Home Is Where Your Mom Is

Spring-time certainly is a time of year that I think of my mom

oh….I miss her dearly!

Though she passed away a year and a half ago, I still find myself picking up the phone to call her like I used to everyday.

But I can’t anymore.

Instead…..

I can look back on

wonderful memories

So for all you mama’s out there and for all you daughters out there…to those who have loved & lost as well

just remember to treasure the moments!

to print out, frame and display to help me remember that my mom is always with me in memory and in heart!

S’more Kit

You all know I love s’mores…as evidenced in my treats
here at the cottage…

(see recipe for S’more Croissants here)

So I thought I’d put together a whole S’more package for a gift…

What do you need to make s’smores?

{ Fire }
(aka firewood, matches, maybe some kindling like pinecones, right?)

Below you can see the matches are held in this very vintage old match holder

ahhhhh (are other junk lovers sighing?)

And I put together some individual packets for s’more creation with the basics of chocolate bars, marshmallows and graham crackers

in a little bag, tied with twine and with a little
FUN TAG!!

All put together in this great vintage tool bin

I hope the recipient likes it as much as I liked putting it together!

Remember I shared my recipe for Gardener’s Hand Scrub
earlier this year?

------------------------------------------------------------

This new version is the same basic premise..

Whip up a batch of this

easy yet indulgent scrub

when you have a few minutes…using ingredients YOU ALREADY HAVE!

The only ingredients you need are:

Sugar
{or Brown Sugar}

Body Wash

{yep that’s it folks!}

You can add essential oils
(lavender or peppermint perhaps?)
to up the scent factor if you wish…
{but most body washes already have wonderful scents!}
so you really don’t HAVE to!
